Not that I checked it but isn't it actually smaller? This programme isn't massive compared to Google Earth. I recommend neither programme if you have only a slow connection or a small download limit (less than 1GB per month) as due to the nature of the programme they both have to download a large amount of data. Having tried both, and having an open opinion, they're both good! Detail wise for the actual application of the programme they both represent what is best available to the general public without paying for it (or what data the programme has access to). Of course, the other person could be working for Google :D Thats completely different and it sounds as though the person tried Google Earth and wasn't impressed with its features, its compatibility with his system, or the detail available for the areas that they're interested in. Sure you can try it but if you have reservations then that would affect your opinion of it.Īnother review stated that Google Earth is crap and they prefer this one better. It makes it sound as though you haven't even tried it with an open opinion. I agree that its silly saying one programme is crap because you don't care for it and you're an avid user of another programme. This is an excellent programme, sure there can be improvements or modifications done to it to make it better, but what programme doesn't?
